In 1992, he obtained a master's degree in law from East China Normal University and he worked as a law teacher there. Currently, he teaches the Contract Law, Torts Law, and Evidence Law at the Law School of East China Normal University.

In 1999, he passed the qualification examination for lawyers and in 2001 obtained the qualification for practising lawyers. From 2001 to 2013, he worked as a part-time lawyer in Shanghai Xinhua Law Firm. Since 2014, he became a part-time lawyer of Shanghai Law View Partners.
